Cenotaph Memorial
This memorial is situated in a small park in Market Street, it commemorates those who died in WWII. Olive Schreiner’s husband, Cron, had his office in the building that can be seen opposite the southern corner.

Hanover Museum
Hanover Museum, is housed in the original Petrusvallei farmhouse in Viljoen Street around which the town developed. It has displays of artefacts dating back to pioneer days, including documents and old photographs, furniture, kitchen appliances, clothing and a beautiful scale model of the church.
